A comedown a dominant may feel after intense play, less talked about than sub drop but just as real.

Dom drop, sometimes called top drop, is the emotional comedown a dominant or top can experience after an intense scene. It is less discussed than sub drop but just as real, and can include feelings of guilt, doubt or low mood as adrenaline fades. The responsibility of holding a scene takes its own toll. Mutual aftercare matters here: dominants need care and reassurance too, and partners checking on each other afterwards helps both recover.
