Belonging to a private club is sensitive information. Venuva is built around that simple idea. We keep the least we can, we never see a member's ID, and no member's data or identity is ever made public. This page explains exactly what that means, in plain language. It is not a legal document.
The clearest way to explain our approach is to show you both sides.
Only what is genuinely needed to keep your member list and door working.
If we do not need it, we do not want it. These never reach us.
A few more things worth being clear about.
A specialist third party carries out the age check directly with the member. They handle the document. Venuva only ever receives the result, a yes or a no, and the date. We never see the ID itself.
Every club's data is kept apart from every other club's. One club can never see another club's members, and a member at one club is never linked to a member at another. There is no shared member directory behind the scenes.
The person on the door sees the door screen and nothing else. They can check the member in front of them, but they cannot browse your member database or see anything they do not need for the door.
A member can request deletion at any time. When they do, their record is removed. Nobody is locked into staying on a list once they want to leave it.
All data is hosted in the UK or the EU. It does not get quietly shipped off to somewhere with weaker protections. It stays close to home.
Every club receives a signed data processing agreement before onboarding. It sets out, in writing, how the data is handled, so the arrangement is clear and on paper from day one.
