The South East Scene
The South East of England occupies a unique position in the UK lifestyle scene, sitting between London and the rest of England with excellent transport links to both. Hertfordshire is home to Spielplatz, one of the longest-operating naturist resorts in the United Kingdom. Set across ten acres of woodland near Bricket Wood in the county, it offers day visits, camping and longer stays for naturists and naturist families. The resort has operated for several decades and has a well-established community of regular visitors.
The Chiltern Hills
The Chiltern Hills area of the South East is home to Diogenes Sunclub, a family-oriented naturist club with indoor and outdoor pool facilities and camping space. It hosts regular naturist activities and social sessions throughout the year and serves the broader Thames Valley and Chiltern Hills naturist community.
Kent, Surrey and Essex
Kent, Surrey and Essex each have active lifestyle communities primarily organised through private events, FabSwingers-organised parties and discreet venue nights rather than large permanent clubs. The proximity to London means many South East enthusiasts combine London club visits with locally organised private events and social nights. The scene here is less visible publicly than in the North and Midlands but is active and well-connected.
