Subspace

An altered, often floaty or euphoric mental state a submissive may enter during intense play.

Subspace is a trance like or euphoric headspace some submissives enter during intense play, driven by adrenaline and endorphins. It can feel floaty, dreamy or deeply relaxed, and people in deep subspace may be less able to think clearly or communicate, which is why a watchful partner matters. Subspace is often followed by a comedown, so aftercare is important. A dominant can experience a parallel focused state sometimes called topspace.
