The lifestyle, often just called the scene, refers broadly to the world of consensual adult communities built around kink, BDSM, swinging and fetish. Being in the lifestyle can mean attending clubs and events, taking part in munches, or simply identifying with these interests. It is a social as much as a sexual world, with its own etiquette, friendships and culture. People dip in and out to whatever degree suits them.
