How Venuva Handles Age Verification

When a new member is approved by you, Venuva triggers an age verification check through a specialist third-party provider. The member deals with the provider directly on their own phone. The document never comes to you, and it never comes to us. We receive only the result: a yes or a no, and the date it was carried out.

That result is stored against the member’s record in your database. You have a clean, auditable record that the check was completed, without the legal and operational risks of holding documents yourself.

Why This Matters for Licensed Venues

An adult entertainment venue that relies on self-declaration is taking a significant risk. Verbal confirmation that someone is over 18 is not a record of anything. If a complaint or inspection requires evidence that you verified ages, you need more than a form that says “I confirm I am over 18”.
